Agustín Lhardy was a multidisciplinary Spanish artist. He went on to work on engraving, painting and sculpture. He began his training in France and continued it in Madrid, at the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando, where he was a disciple of Carlos de Haes. After that he began to participate in National Exhibitions of Fine Arts, getting awards for his different paintings, such as the third medal in 1878 and in 1901 he obtained the second medal for one of his paintings. As for engraving, he was also awarded prizes for his skill, in addition to participating in exhibitions organized by the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid and the International Panama of 1916.
