Vicente Galcerán y Alapont was a Spanish engraver from Valencia. He studied with Juan Bautista Ravanals and Hipólito Rovira in his hometown, and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid. In 1750 he made his first commission with the Cabildo of Toledo and four years later he returned to Valencia to be a teacher at the Academy of Santa Bárbara, being a professor of Joaquín Ballester and Pedro Pascual Moles. He was a prolific engraver recognized for his work upon receiving the appointment of Academician of Merit of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
