Manuel Alcorlo, an exceptional engraver, painter and draughtsman, entered the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in 1953, where he was awarded a prize the following year. He created a work full of strength, with a very personal style, a powerful imagination not exempt from social satire and a clear critical intention, more compassionate than hurtful.
