Ignacio Dávila Golmayo, also known as Matute, is an artist graduate in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and a specialist in engraving thanks to his studies in engraving and printing at the Escuela de Ates y Oficios nº 10 in Madrid. He brings with him a long and rich career full of grants, prizes and exhibitions, both individual and collective. His works remain in major institutions such as the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, the Royal Mint, the CEIM Foundation and the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Engraving of the Community of Madrid, among others.  Most of his works are based on urban landscape painting and the human figure.
