Antonio Lorenzo, Spanish engraver and painter, began his studies at the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts, where he learned from Adsuara, a master sculptor for whom he always felt admiration throughout his life. In 1955, he began a friendship with the painter Fernando Zóbel, with whom he travelled to Paris and thanks to whom he was initiated in the field of engraving, together with other artists such as Sempere and Abel Martín in the technique of serigraphy.

He became an essential engraver in contemporary Spanish art. His work as an engraver was very intense and progressive. His first portfolio of graphic work was published by the Museo de Arte Abstracto Español in 1964, and his work as an engraver was shown in the exhibition Antonio Lorenzo. Some of the individual exhibitions in which he has participated include the Fortuny Gallery in Madrid, the Ateneo de Madrid and the Sala de la Dirección General de Bellas Artes in the same city. In addition to the city of Madrid, he has exhibited in places such as Granada in the Palacio de Madraza, in the Arteko Gallery in San Sebastián or the Valera Gallery in Bilbao, among others.
