Quantity

Ignacio Berriobeña was a Spanish artist with numerous prizes for engraving and painting, and with a long career of 42 years as a teacher, he was Professor of Engraving at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Seville and Professor of Natural Drawing at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University. His career as an artist began primarily with engravings, although later he turned to painting as his most common technique, a field in which he undoubtedly stood out without disregarding his skill and mastery in the art of engraving.

Holder of a large number of awards in both fields, including the Durán Prize for Painting in 1988, the Francisco de Goya Prize in 1992, the National Prize for Engraving in 1975 and the Prize in the Engraving Contest of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in 1982.
