Francisco Muntaner was a Spanish painter and engraver. It was part of the sagas of Mallorcan artists of the eighteenth century. In 1767 he was admitted as a supernumerary academician to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando. He participated in different important projects undertaken by the Royal Academy, such as the Arab Antiquities ofSpain, the Portraits of the Illustrious Spaniards or the Company for the engraving of the paintings of the Royal Palaces.
