Miguel Condé is a Mexican writer and painter, considered self-taught, except for his studies of anatomy in New York with Steven Rogers Peck. In 1963 he received a scholarship with which he moved to Paris to work in the printmaking workshop of Hayter, where he becomes familiar with this technique. Six years later he moved to Barcelona.

His work is characterized by patches of color, beyond the lines of the drawing, thereby get a very personal effect, where the symbolic and fiction are a fundamental part of his work. He has received several international awards and is currently considered one of the great masters of contemporary engraving. There have come to exhibit in many galleries spread throughout the world, mainly in Europe, the United States and Mexico.
