Fumiko Negishi is a Japanese visual artist based in Spain. He studied and graduated from the Joshibi University of Art and Design in Tokyo, and after finishing his studies in Japan he moved to Madrid to start studying at the Complutense University of Madrid. Fumiko's work is based on abstraction inspired mainly by his experiences and memories of the past, and could be seen for the first time in Valencia in 2017 thanks to The Four Gallery. She has been awarded the "National Impressions" prize of the National Intaglio Competition of Madrid.
