Eugenio Chicano was a Spanish-born artist, painter, engraver and muralist, among other disciplines that were part of his life. He would study in the School of Arts and Crafts in San Telmo in Malaga, and later enrolled at the School of Industrial Experts, leaving it in less than two years to pursue his passion, painting.

Around mid-fifties of the twentieth century, he would meet some interesting artists such as Enrique Brinkmann or Dámaso Ruano. In 1955 he become part of the foundation of the Group Picasso, beginning to realize numerous exhibitions throughout the globe, some of his works can be found in the Spanish Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid, The Museum of Contemporary Art in New York and the Museum of UNESCO in Paris.

His work is impregnated with pop art, with large patches of color, serves Chicano always show the most essential in their works, interesting portraits. He was recognized with great mentions and awards for his career as an artist.
