Munir El Saadawi is an Iraqi graphic artist and engraver living in Spain. He began his artistic studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and later specialized in graphic design in Madrid. Throughout his artistic career he has been awarded with different prizes among which it is worth highlighting the third prize of the Association of Sculptors and painters of Madrid, the honorary prize in the V Biennial of Engraving José Ribera or the third prize in the VII Triennial of Engraving of Taiwan.
