Antón Patiño Pérez is a Spanish painter and writer. He settled in Madrid and was an active part of the renewal of Spanish art in the eighties as a founding member of Atlántica in 1980. His work is characterized by the intensity of color in all its stages, being classified by critics as "conceptual expressionist".

He has exhibited individually in important capitals around the world, such as Paris, New York, Zürich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Stuttgart, Bordeaux, Madrid, Stockholm and Hamburg among other cities. He has also participated in important group exhibitions and fairs also held around Europe, Latin America and Asia.

His work is in museums and foundations such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Centro Galego de Arte Contemporáneo, Museo Extremaduraño e Iberoamericano de Arte Contemporáneo, Fundació La Caixa, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Barcelona or Fundación Thomas, among others.

Re received the 1st Prize and Medal of Honor of the International Biennial of Sport , 1st Prize Biennial International Painting City of Pamplona and the 1st prize of the National Exhibition of Valdepeñas, among other awards.
