Víctor Ramírez is a multidisciplinary Chilean visual artist who has worked on painting, drawing, sculpture, engraving and large format installations in public spaces. He studied at the University of Fine Arts at the University of Chile, training that he complemented at the University of Concepción and in 1975 he moved to Barcelona where he developed his career and established himself to this day.

His work is linked to expressionism, abstraction and informalism, one of his most recurrent themes being poetry. He has also edited more than fifty author's books with contemporary poets such as Ángel Crespo and Gonzalo Rojas. He has held mainly solo exhibitions between Belgium and Spain. His work is in museums and collections such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Stdelijk Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona or the Provincial Museum of Antwerp, among others.
