Nacho Criado, one of the most important experimental artists of the Spanish contemporary art in recent decades. He studied architecture in Madrid, parallel to it, also initiates studies in Social Sciences in Barcelona, ??moving back to Madrid in 1969. His art test diferent positions and evolves along different paths, from minimalism to a more conceptual art, even experienced the Land Art. He tried to expand and release his artistic language to conceive the material behavior of the object in its actual form, through its truest expression.

He realised numerous exhibitions in places like the Reina Sofía Museum, the Universal Exposition in Seville in 1992 or for the cultural foundation of Venecia Viennale, among others. In the same way his work has been awarded with several prizes among which the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts in 2008 and the National Prize of Plastic Arts of Spain in 2009.
