Maria Josepa Colom i Sambola was Spanish painter and printmaker born in Catalonia. It was formed in the "escula of Llotja" after which he moved to Pakistan where he lived for a long time until his return to Barcelona and subsequent death in 2017.

Renowned engraver, was awarded the Spanish National Prize of Engraving and the City of Barcelona Prize in engraving section. His work is mainly located in the Museum d'Art Jaume Morera, the Museu d'Art de Sabadell and the Library of Catalonia, and to a lesser extent the National Chalcography - Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
