Isidro Tascón is a Spanish artist from León. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca and throughout his career has been awarded several prizes in the modalities of painting, sculpture and engraving by the Junta de Castilla y León. He was also awarded in the Graphic Art Contest for Young Creators of the National Chalcography, with the scholarship of the Academy of Spain in Rome by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Scholarship of Plastic Arts of the Academy of Spain in Rome by the Ministry of Culture. He has participated in numerous fairs and exhibitions, both individual and collective, in Spain and abroad, and his work can be found in both public and private collections, in institutions such as the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation, the Casa de Velázquez, the National Calcography or the Junta de Castilla y León.
