José Yagües is a Spanish artist from Murcia. He was educated at the School of Arts and Crafts of Murcia, at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Granada and at the University of Valencia. At the age of 24 he received his first award by participating in the contest of the Cañada Blanch Foundation, and since then he has not stopped participating in numerous exhibitions, exhibitions and fairs around the world, although it has been in Europe, and more specifically, in Spain where his work has had the most diffusion. His participation in the IV Biennial of the Artist's Book of Naples, the Art Edition Seoul in South Korea, ARCO in Madrid on numerous occasions, ARTBO in Colombia, or the Art Bassel 95 in Paris, among many others, stands out. His work can be found in various galleries and museums such as goya's birthplace in Zaragoza, the Pablo Neruda Foundation in Chile, the Michelin Foundation in France or the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Engraving Foundation in Marbella.
