Domingo Martínez Aparici was a Spanish engraver from Valencia. He was a pupil of Esteve Vilella at the Royal Academy of San Fernando before being granted a pension to continue his studies of engraving in Paris. In 1855 he was appointed professor of engraving and academician of the Royal Academy of San Fernando.

He made mainly reproductions of classical works, with which he attended on several occasions the National Exhibitions of Fine Arts, obtaining a first class medal in the edition of 1862. He collaborated as an illustrator of several books and magazines, and participated in important engraving companies of the time such as the collection of Architectural Monuments of Spain, or the Selected Paintings of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of SanFernando. Standing out in the latter for his expertise in reproducing in engraving, the paintings of great artists such as Zurbarán or Alonso Cano under the custody of the institution.
