Miguel Ángel Blanco is a Spanish artist from Madrid who is widely known for his work "La Biblioteca del bosque". His artistic work began in 1986 when he presented his first solo exhibition at the La Cúpula Gallery in Madrid, from that moment on there were numerous individual or group exhibitions, awards and scholarships, such as the Pollock-Krasner Foundation scholarship from New York, the L'Oreal Painting Award in its IX edition, the National Engraving Award or the Villa de Madrid "Lucio Muñoz" Engraving Award.

Likewise, his works can be found in various museums, galleries and collections such as the Reina Sofía National Museum, the National Library of Spain, the National Museum of Print in Mexico, the Contemporary Art Collection belonging to the European Union and based in Brussels, the Bank of Spain Collection, the National Calcography - Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, the Fundación La Caixa collection or the L'Oreal collection.
