John Carrafa was a Spanish writer and artist. He trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, Knowing one of his works shortly before the Peninsula War. After the war he engraved numerous prints exalting the spanish struggle and patriotism. He participated in important projects as the series of portraits of famous Spanish, the costume collection of Spain or numerous religious engravings.
