Francisco Aznar y García was a Spanish painter, printmaker and illustrator. He began his training at the Fine Arts Academy of San Luis in Zaragoza, and later at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid, where he became Director of the Painting Division after the death of Carlos de Haes, taking charge in 1899.

He collaborated in numerous publications, series and ornamentation throughout his life, in addition to participating in several Spanish National Fine Arts Exhibitions, where he obtained an honorable mention in 1860 and 1867.
